The beginning
A legacy carried
forward.
Michael Reynosa grew up around the barbershop, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Ramon Aguirre.
That inheritance was bigger than technique. It was the understanding that a barber earns trust one conversation, one promise, and one careful finish at a time.
Before the shop’s concrete was poured, the ground was prayed over—that Jesus Christ would be its foundation, “The Rock.” Crown of Thorns became a place where excellent work and Christian service could live under one roof.

Why Crown of Thorns
The name points to the foundation.
The crown is not decoration. It is a reminder of sacrifice, grace, and the standard by which this shop seeks to serve: with humility, conviction, and love for our neighbors.
